This is my second time year with Musical Theatre Dublin and I had an even better time than the first!! Everyone was so lovely and fun to work with and they picked an amazing show to put on. I did two sessions this year. Despite having smaller roles in comparison to the first I enjoyed this one just as much if not more!! MTD remains to be the best place to form new friendships and I’m so happy to have been able to work with everyone and create an amazing show.  Ciara M.

         MUSICAL THEATRE DUBLIN PROGRAMS

After eight successful summers, once again, in 2026, leading industry mentors from the United States and Ireland will be in Dublin to teach the art of Musical Theatre.

For our teen program, we’re looking for aspiring actors and actresses between 13 and 18 years old.  For the new adult programme, anyone over the age of 18 is welcome.  All are invited to join; no experience is necessary!

For the new winter/spring session, we will be presenting a teen programme as well as an adult program, each culminating in the fully rehearsed and staged production of a musical.

In the summer, be part of one, two or all three intensive 3-week training programmes which will teach you the art of musical theatre in a small group environment and culminate in a fully rehearsed musical..

Participants will have the opportunity to work with leading industry mentors and be part of a professional theatre production.

Our winter/spring sessions take place from January 18 - August 4, with rehearsals at the Sandymount Community Centre and the Sean O'Casey Community Centre.

Three summer sessions will take place at Trinity College, Dublin,
