Pam founded Musical Theatre Dublin in 2017 with the intention of bringing more access to performing in musicals to teens in Dublin and eventually more professional musical theatre to the city. She has been working in theatre since she was a child. In addition to directing and music directing, Pam has experience as an actor onstage in numerous productions and has costumed many adult and children’s theatre shows. Pam has worked on all aspects of tech and stage crew, and has directed and played in pit orchestras. She is a professor emeritus at Temple University in Philadelphia, and several of her six children are professional musical theatre actors. She has many years of experience in organizing and collaborating on children's musical theatre programs in the Philadelphia area, including directing and supervising multiple sessions of children’s theatre programs at the award-winning Hedgerow Theatre. Pam is passionate about musical theatre and is excited to bring more of it to the Dublin area. Musical Theatre Dublin’s summer program is modelled after the extremely successful Upper Darby Summer Stage, where she and her children have been involved and working for years.

This is my second time year with Musical Theatre Dublin and I had an even better time than the first!! Everyone was so lovely and fun to work with and they picked an amazing show to put on. I did two sessions this year. Despite having smaller roles in comparison to the first I enjoyed this one just as much if not more!! MTD remains to be the best place to form new friendships and I’m so happy to have been able to work with everyone and create an amazing show. Ciara M.
