Musical Theatre Dublin is a theatre programme in Dublin that debuted in the summer of 2018.   We create educational musical theatre experiences for both teens and adults. Musical Theatre Dublin is an immersive education programme; we believe in learning while doing.  We offer a year-round program for adults and summer intensive courses for teens, with an emphasis on performance in Broadway and London-style musicals. Each session culminates in a fully rehearsed musical.  Summer courses take place at Trinity College Dublin, with performances at the Sean O'Casey Theatre.  The year-round course rehearses at Sandymount Community Centre as well as the Sean O'Casey Community Centre, with performances at the Sean O'Casey Theatre.

Students learn all aspects of how a musical show is produced.  They will learn music and voice, choreography, and acting techniques, as well as the nuts and bolts of creating a show.  Everyone who auditions becomes part of the cast.  It is an intensive program that culminates in a performance of a musical.  In addition to learning all aspects of putting on a show, students learn confidence, group process, teamwork, independence and interdependence on fellow cast members. Our program teaches truly collaborative theatre-making.  There is an emphasis on small group instruction and one-on-one coaching.  It is a thoroughly immersive educational experience in theatre-making.
